"Arrive 4 hours before departure time," said SuperFerry VP for Safety & Security, Jess Supan, "so you can board and travel with minimal hassle this Christmas."

Thousands of travelers are expected to go home this Christmas week, especially because of the unusually long holiday vacation expected this year.

“SuperFerry values the safety and security of its passengers, and is cooperating with the Task Force Sea Marshall of the Philippine Coast Guard, PNP Maritime Group, Philippine Ports Authority, and the Maritime Industry Authority to make sure that our terminals and vessels stay safe and secure during this peak travel period for the benefit of our riding public,” said Supan.

Supan said passengers should deal only with authorized company representatives who can be identified through their IDs and uniforms; and avoid bringing flammable liquids and solids, corrosive materials, toxic and infectious substances, compressed gases, radioactive materials and explosives.

Passengers were advised to arrange porterage assistance only at designated counter in the baggage handling area so they will pay only the official fees of P35 per baggage with maximum weight of 30 kilos each; and were reminded that free baggage allowance is up to 50 kilos.

Supan also said that there continues to be a Customer Service Counter at the Eva Macapagal Super Terminal for any inquiry or complaint.

Libo libong pasahero ang inaasahang dumagsa sa mga pantalan sa linggo ng Pasko, dahil na rin sa inaasahang kahabaan ng bakasyon ngayong taon.

“Pinapahalagahan ng SuperFerry ang kaligtasan at seguridad ng mga pasahero nito kaya nakikipag tulungan ito sa Task Force Sea Marshall ng Philippine Coast Guard, PNP Maritime Group, Philippine Ports Authority, at ng Maritime Industry Authority para masiguro na ligtas ang mga terminal at barko nito ngayong panahon ng pag biyahe,” sabi ni Supan.

Sinabi rin ni Supan na makipag ugnayan lamang sa mga manggagawa ng kumpanya sa pamamagitan ng pagkilala sa kanilang suot na uniporme at ID; at huwag magdala ng mga bagay na ipinagbabawal sa loob ng barko gaya ng mga flammable liquids at solids gaya ng lighter fluid, corrosive materials, toxic at infectious substances, compressed gases at radioactive materials.

Ang pag aasikaso para sa pagpapabuhat ng bagahe or porterage assistance ay gawin lamang sa baggage handling area. Ang wastong singil para dito ay P35 para sa isang piraso ng bagahe at hindi lalagpas ang bigat sa 30 kilos. May libreng baggage allowance na hanggang 50 kilos.
